Learning Intention: To learn how to make a letter/whatever else you have in mind pop through negative spacing.
Negative Space Art

In negative spacing, we learned that we could make something stand out more not only by coloring it in, but by not and surrounding it with images so it looked more exposed and therefore more out there. What went well with me was the basic structure and design of the project, myself believing that I choose a good style to recreate on paper. What I believe didn't go well was how time consuming it was, and I do wish we had more time to work on it so I could have put in more detail. I'd hope we could use pencil first to sketch out our shapes instead of the teachers insisting we must just use the fine liners, causing mishaps that could not be erased. Yes, to some extent, though I do wish we could have had more time/put in more detail.
